Had an awesome weekend with Pst Ulf.. Most of the message we hear is about faith.. It is like we need to have faith in God, etc.. but last week Pst Ulf talks abt fear. How fear can ruin our life and destory our dreams. We would have fear but it is important that we wont allow the fear to grip our life.

Like Peter... we need to call out to Jesus n start walking on water.. Sometime it is just a choice that will determine ur destiny.. Will u allow fear to stop u? or Faith to bring u across. Walking on water required Us to Trust God.. else we will be drown..

Everyday of our life - we need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.. Allow him to lead us n guide us... When He speaks, we moved..

Let Go of Fear.. Killing Fear..

Growth.. it required everyone to play our part. Applying the connect group n caring system.. A vision, a Target n a goal mixed with prayer n hard work.. - will be the breakthru..

It is like 4days away to the 1st quiz of this semester.. It is like so fast lor. still in the midst of holiday mood.. haha..

So tired today.. went to study with ian n ign last night till 1am.. went home n slept at 2plus.. so many things to study.. think tonight got to burn midnight oil again..maybe not till too late bah if not tmr will fall asleep on my computer again..

Pst Ulf is coming this week.. i am so excited.. Thank God no class on sun.. can attend but sat got to rush down for svc..

Expanding, enlarging my capacity.. I want to do more things for the Lord...

it is mon again.. as usual.. having mondays blues.. it is like so tired n dun feel like working.. Bad bad!!

So i decided i shld just blog n wait for another 26min to lunch time.. yippee.. hopefully after lunch things will turn out to be better.. i guess i shld make a choice to WORK..haha..

Anyway.. had a great weekend.. on sat, after work went to eat with Xiu.. had a great time of fellowship... seems so long since we last realli spend time..(got to start spending time with my dearest friends).. then we went to expo.. hmmm svc is starting at 530pm.. abit not used to it.. cos the door opened at 4pm last time.. but now a bit later.. need some time to adapt bah..

After svc, waited for dear to finish his meeting with hospi.. then we went to my grandmother's house.. my newphews n nieces was so thrilled to see dear.. everyone of them came screaming n wishing him Happy new year.. hehe.. we had our dinner, yusheng n also celebrated serene's bday..

dear was surprised by the atmosphere of love, joy n relaxation.. it is like we joked n have fun.. nothing serious.. hehe.. glad that dear is not shocked at the big family that i have.. - That's sat..

Sunday- was a tiring but fruitful day.. had class in the morning.. were "discipled" by my lecturer.. realli Thank God for him la.. he teach well.. after that when to TPY for lunch. Went to the library n wanna to study for this coming week paper.. but the quietness of it make me feel so uncomfortable.. hehe.. so we went to Mac... Wah.. i felt free.. hehe.. so studied for a couple of hrs then we went dear's grandmother's house.. She is 95yrs old this year.. wow.. spend time with her. then we went dinner with his family.. after which we went to pick up his "pets"..

suddenly i have a craving for ice-cream... so we went to Holland village to eat.. COld Rock!!.. it is from Aust.. they actually mixed 2 flavor of Ice-cream together with our selected topping.. it is nice.. but abit sweet for dear...:)

Cookies n cream + Rum n raisins + brownies..

How is ur V day?

Mi was Great!! had a zone Love Affair event on the eve of V day.. The first V day i celebrated with my partner.. We had a great time. Dear performed a magic show.. during one of the performance.. he turned 3 pieces of paper to turn to chocolate, flower in a vase.. n he gave it to mi..i was surprised.. shocked..
this is the first time i saw him performed.. So proud of him.. He is really talented in this area. We had some games n a wonderful meal prepared by craving thought cafe.. a good place to chill n enjoy.. During the event.. alvin did a video to propose to Sherin... So happy for them.. it is like again couple walking thru the red carpet...

I have made this for Dear..

Glad that he likes it.. He gave me a soundtrack of enchanted as well as 3 cute bears holding a chocolate.. So nice of him.. hehe.. i was surprise by the bear.. cos he told him.. pls dun buy real flower.. as i think it is a waste of money.. it is not practical...

On V day.. sad.. i had class to attend.. missed one on wed.. so cant afford to miss another class... the class ended early.. dear came n picked mi up from school.. We went back to his place.. dear had brought 2 japanese set as well as cakes.. to celebrate V day together.. we went to one of the shelter at his condo for dinner..
hehe... simple but i enjoyed myself..

Was reading Xiu's blog that day i found the following to be encouraging, inspiring...

3 Stages of relationship :

"DEPENDENCE stage" - Honeymood period
"INDEPENDENT stage" - Busy with own's agenda

"INTERDEPENDENT stage" - Ultimate Stage..

where you all learn and grow to depend on each other independent to an extend of being responsible of your own actions but yet interdependent on one another when it comes to decisions making
and this is a very mature stage of love where mutual understanding sets in where 2 person no longer just depend on one another
neither are they just busy with their own lives but they learn to be involved and busy with one another's life
where 2 lives really becomes one
2 different lives
2 different callings
2 different visions
but yet one destiny
this is a stage all relationship should work towards

Indeed i want to work towards this stage of interdependent stage as we learn to be involved in one another's life.. not just abt my feeling.. it is not just abt giving in or taking all the times.. But there need to be time where communicate n plans r make.. for the relationship.. Communicate to understand wat each other is going thru..

Alot of time - we choose to assume.. Assuming that our partner will do this, think in this or that way.. when most of the time our assumption is always wrong.. Asking! Talking thru abt it! is so impt...

As Valentine approaches.. Time to do something for ur partner.. Something that is from ur heart will melts his or her.. I learnt something as i walk.. You can also take the 1st step/ move/ action.. Step OUt.. n dun just wait..

Let the Love keep on burning..

Burning with passion n love for Jesus always..

Today is the 6th day of CNY.. Still in the CNY mood? Hmmm i guess it is time to refocus now.. Not forgetting the vision of the church, cg n our life.

A breakthru of mindset n thinking.. Watever u focus on will grow.

Things to focus on!!
1. Spiritual Growth - growing in the Word as well as in prayer.
- Being a disciple of Christ
" Seek 1st the kingdom of God..."
" Every Living Thing will grow..."

2. Great Commission - Soul winner.. making disciple...
" Finding a need to meet n a hurt to heal

3. Family, loved one, CG mem - Spending Quality time together

4. Career, Studies n Ministry..

Use me Lord.. Make me more n more like Jesus..

Prayer moves the hands of God. Cultivate a lifestyle of Prayer...

As we walked this few months together.. we learnt to make changes to our own life to allow each other to enter. There will be time when our opinion is not the same, our thinking is different. But we should to talk over it. It is not easy when sometime scarifice had to be made. Not compromising our faith n belief.. but to be more understanding towards one another. To put ourselves in each other's shoes.. Man n woman is indeed created differently...

I thank God for u.. I am so blessed.

Today is like the last day of work before the long holiday approaches. It is like so many things to be done..

Clearing up my rooms (did abit last night)
Buy a pair of shoes
Do my assignment
Send dear off

To be done within 2 days.. Wah Wah..

had a late night on sat.. cos aft svc went BangBang King with the Cell, we had a great time of fellowship. then went back to Church to wait for dear.. :) he ended at abt 10plus, was hungry.. so we went back home to take the van to go out for supper.. Faint eat again.. i'm like super full lor.. think need to lost weight after CNY. We went to have teochew porridge near my sch there.. then we headed for home. Super tired.. fell asleep..

Woke up early on sun... so excited for the zoo outing with my cell.. wow.. it is like super long never visit the zoo.. sob sob.. dear n i need to leave early cos need to send his mum to the airport.. cos his whole family is going to thailand for holiday... On the way home, it was pouring like crazy.. prayed that it is not raining in the zoo.. cos the rest r still there.. i will post the photo soon ok!

after airport, we went to tamp Giant to get my file - finally.. then i went to my cousin's house for reunion dinner.. while dear went for hospi appreciation dinner.. after dinner, dear came n picked me up.. then who knows.. my cousin locked me in the house.. cos they wanted dear to come up so that they can looked at him.. guess everyone at home really like dear. praising him.. I am so blessed.. my relative seems to be so eager to know when will he be coming back from his trip.. faint!.. Think when he returned, we would need to visit our grandparents..

I prayed that as we spend time with my cousin.. we would be able to reach out to them.
We went to pick up our parents from little india.. a super crowded place.. that i wont like to go...

Dear is leaving tmr.. for his 7 days trip..

CNY is coming.. A time of celebration.. i pray that it will also be a time of good fellowship with my loved one.

It is sat again. today is my working day.. So tired but no choice has to be at work. At first, Andy n i was thinking of clearing up the mess on the self.. but he was sick.. so we didnt. came into office, did a quotation n started to slack.. I hate to work on sat as it is abit unfruitful. Haha... Anyway excited for svc today.. n also for Zoo outing tmr.

Time to go back.. will be heading to cousin's house to go for massage with my auntie.. has been aching for the past few weeks. need to relax for a while. miss issac n bel alot..

Watched Sweeney Todd on thurs with dear.. it is a musicial show.. so bloody that i was hiding most of the time.. unfortunately i fell asleep.. not my type of show bah.. or.. to confort myself i am just tired. Haha

Focus for this few months - reaching out thru connect group - Really need the strength, grace n anointing of GOD..
