"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. " 1 Cor 9:24-27 During a race, everyone started at the same time. But not everyone would finished together.. there is always a winner. But in the midst of this long long race, many will felt tried and give up. Some might fell down n injured themselves. We always hear this saying " it is not how u start but how u end"
It is sad sometime to realise that not everyone really run together with u in this race.. everyone has their own agenda n stuff... but really wat is the prize that we are running for... the imperishable crown!!! Or our own desire..
God, in this race i want to run in a way that i would win the race. Even when no one would run with mi i know U r there.. Like Paul, i would discipline myself ... so that i would not be disqualified. I want to obtain the imperishable crown.... :)
Friends out there.. Run ur race well.. Not for ur own desire but for the God's...
